Privacy: Runs in this browser tab. Your camera and microphone are analyzed here and never recorded, saved, or uploaded - only derived numbers (frame rate, mic level, echo strength, device names) reach the report. The one thing that leaves the browser is the Network check, a small request to edge.desktest.net (DeskTest.net's own server, which stores nothing) to measure latency and jitter. The camera and mic are stopped the moment the run ends. View source to verify.

Takes about 15 seconds. Your browser will ask once for camera and microphone; click Allow. A short test tone and chirp will play - set your volume to a normal level first.
