Pen and Stylus Test
A free test page for an active pen or stylus: a Wacom or Huion tablet, a Surface Pen, an iPad with Apple Pencil, or any drawing display. Draw on the pad below and watch the line thicken with pressure while a live readout shows pressure, tilt, twist, hover, the eraser end, and the barrel button. Useful when pressure stops working after a driver update, tilt never seems to register in your art app, or the eraser end or side button quits.
Read the Pen and Stylus Test guide for help reading the verdict or fixing each failure mode.
Configuration
Takes about 30 seconds (most of it is you drawing with the pen). All input stays in this browser tab; nothing is uploaded. A pen or stylus is required - a mouse or finger cannot report pressure or tilt.
Diagnostic complete
Pen input is supported
Reading window.PointerEvent and the pressure, tiltX, and twist properties the browser exposes for a pen.
Pen draws with varying pressure
Draw on the pad with your pen. Press lightly, then hard - the line should get thicker with pressure. The live readout shows tilt, twist, hover, eraser, and the barrel button.
Draw on the pad below with your pen. Vary the pressure from a feather-light touch to a firm press so the tool can see the pressure range. Then, if your pen has them, try tilting the pen, flipping to the eraser end, and holding the barrel (side) button. Hover the tip just above the surface to test hover. Click Done when finished.
Waiting for the pen. Touch the pad with your stylus.

Analog inputs report correctly
Summarized from the drawing above: whether pressure varied, and whether tilt, twist, hover, the eraser end, and the barrel button were seen. Tilt and twist are hardware-dependent and are never counted as failures.
