Proxy & SSL Inspection Test
A free browser check that tells you whether a corporate proxy or TLS-inspection appliance sits between this machine and the internet. It contacts a single edge reflector, then compares what the reflector received to what this browser actually sent. A rewritten User-Agent or a forwarding header is proof of a proxy in the path. Useful when apps throw certificate errors or "connection is not private" warnings on a managed network.
Read the Proxy Test guide for help interpreting the verdict.
edge.desktest.net (a Cloudflare Worker that stores nothing) to see your connection from the outside; nothing else leaves your machine. No credentials, no business data, no analytics, no tracking. View source to confirm.Configuration
Takes about 2 seconds. The test makes one HTTPS request to the edge reflector and reads back what it saw; no business data is sent.
Diagnostic complete
Reach the edge reflector
Issues a single GET to edge.desktest.net/whoami and confirms the reply is genuine.
Your egress identity
Shows how the internet sees this connection: public IP, network, TLS, and Cloudflare edge.
Interception check
Compares the sent User-Agent to what the edge received, looks for proxy/forwarding headers, and flags a TLS downgrade.
