FIS WebScan Diagnostic
A free test page for FIS WebScan installs. Verifies the WebScan service is reachable, the scanner is connected, and a test scan completes. Run it on the workstation that has the scanner attached.
Read the Scanner Test guide for help reading the verdict or fixing each failure mode.
Privacy: All checks run locally in this browser tab against your scanner driver on
localhost (loopback). No scan images, MICR data, or telemetry are transmitted. View source to verify.First time on this workstation? WebScan only answers pages on its allow list. If the Reach step fails as "not authorized" (401 or 403), add
https://desktest.net in the WebScan tray icon, Settings, Origin Domain Settings. The guide shows the four steps. Chrome and Edge may also prompt to "access other apps and services on this device" - click Allow, or the page cannot reach WebScan (how to re-enable it if you blocked it).Configuration
